PhonepayPlus today becomes the Phone-paid Services Authority (PSA), the UK regulator for content goods and services charged to a phone bill.
The new name makes it clearer who they are and what they do. Their role and regulatory remit remains the same.
They have also adopted a new statement of purpose: “The UK regulator for content goods and services charged to a phone bill”.
Their new website address is www.psauthority.org.uk.
